American Dad! is an American animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series centers on the Smiths, a dysfunctional family consisting of parents Stan and Francine and their children, budding adolescent Steve and new-age hippie Hayley. Other main characters include Hayley's stoner husband Jeff Fischer; the family's pet, Klaus, a man in a fish's body; and Roger, an alien who Stan has rescued from government capture and harbors in the family's attic. The show is set in the fictional town of Langley Falls, Virginia in the Washington, D.C. metro area, which is a gesture of parody of the actual town of Langley, Virginia, home to the headquarters of the CIA. Unlike its sister show Family Guy, American Dad! does not use cutaway gags, but rather focuses more on situational humor and non sequiturs. Since its debut on February 6, 2005, the show has broadcast 136 episodes and began airing season 8 on September 30, 2012.[1] American Dad! has been nominated for awards, most prominently two Primetime Emmy Awards and two Annie Awards.[2] American Dad! has also received mixed reviews, mirroring the reception of Family Guy, and has been criticized by watchdog groups such as the Parents Television Council.[3] It holds a TV-14 rating for suggestive dialogue (D), offensive language (L), moderate to strong sexual content (S), and graphic violence (V).

ABC推出的喜剧，满长寿的。 According to Jim is an American situation comedy television series broadcast by ABC. The show premiered with little publicity in October, 2001, following the surprise hit comedy My Wife and Kids. The show quickly developed an audience of its own and for its second season ABC placed it on its revitalized Tuesday line-up, which also included John Ritter's 8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter, Bonnie Hunt's Life with Bonnie and Less Than Perfect. Week by week, the show attracted more and more viewers, becoming ABC's second most watched sitcom. The show performed so well that the network made a risky move: putting Jim opposite the NBC juggernaut Frasier. Although Jim did not beat the competition, it performed well enough to secure itself that spot on the 2003 fall schedule. Despite its success and keeping a steady core audience, the show was universally panned by critics as an example of a tired sitcom. Ratings have fallen, however ABC has renewed According to Jim for its sixth season on its midseason line-up for 2006-2007 season. Jim is a regular suburban father. He's married to a gorgeous woman, Cheryl, and raises his three kids – Gracie, Ruby and the newborn Kyle – in a big house. Everything is perfect for Jim, if it wasn't for the messy situations he gets himself into and his laziness, which often makes him search for alternative ways of doing things with less effort. Of course, having his wife's siblings hanging out at his house all the time is no help. While Andy might be one of his best friends, Dana often teams up with Cheryl against Jim. The 2006 episode "The Grumpy Guy" poked fun at the real-life feud that erupted between Belushi and his neighbor, actress Julie Newmar. Newmar even guest-starred in the episode. According to Jim has returned on January 3, 2007 with back to back new episodes every Wednesday until January 24 where it will start in its regular 8:30 timeslot.

Jim sticks to his story about the kids losing one of the twins' favorite blanket, even after he's found it in his own pocket.

Jim decides it is time to teach Kyle to defend himself against bullies. Jim shows Kyle how to throw a punch.

Jim is outraged to learn they pay for groceries to be delivered. Cheryl says they have deliveries for a lot of things. He says he will take over the job of grocery shopping and other errands himself to save money, but it does not work out.

Jim and Cheryl clash over a digital camera. He deletes a picture she wanted to keep, so she hides the camera from him.
